Ingredients
1 cup
flour 1 cup
yellow cornmeal 1⁄3 cups
white sugar 1⁄3 cups
brown sugar 1 teaspoon
salt 1 1⁄2 teaspoons
baking powder 1
egg 1 cup
milk (or buttermilk) 1⁄3 cups
vegetable oilInstructions
Spray a 9” pie plate with cooking spray or with butter. Mix the dry ingredients together and then add in the wet, stirring briskly to combine. Pour into your prepared pan. Bake 20 – 25 minutes until the top is set and golden brown. A toothpick inserted in the centre will come out clean.
