As you may know, Nourish is part of a broad movement which seeks to give food more importance in our communities, our economy, and our everyday lives. It seeks to feed our region through a dynamic combination of innovative infrastructure, new connections and strong partnerships. We believe you, the organization and clients you work with are important components of this Network
Are you interested in starting a community garden or helping people you work with in the community start or access a community garden or our growing programs?
We are in the process of designing our Growing programming and workshop schedule for the upcoming season, and would like the opportunity to share ideas, talk with you about potential gaps in the community, what you hear from your clients in terms of how best to support them in joining our garden/ growing movement . In particular, we want to determine how Nourish can best work with you to increase awareness about the impact of gardening and find the most effective ways to ensure our programming supports community members living on low incomes or facing food insecurity.
