This workshop series will help you reap abundant harvests today (no matter your garden size!) while planning to grow sustainable gardens, meeting new people &  growing together! We will be focused on early spring gardening skills while providing opportunity to learn more about Nourish, and contribute to planning for future workshops throughout the season. 
All workshops will be held over zoom. 

Week 1: Starting Seeds Indoors - March 9th 
Learn step-by-step tips for successfully starting your own seeds to get a head start on the season, proper timing for specific crops, transplanting tips &  how grow food indoors

Week 2: Seed Saving March 16th 
Plan to integrate seed saving into your garden plan! Learn tips for planting, growing, harvesting, cleaning & storing your own seeds!This workshop is part of Peterborough Seedy Sunday (viritual edition!) We will talk about potential collective projects so that we we can grow and save seeds together throughout the season!

Week 3: Garden Planning March 23rd 
We will design basic garden plans while talking about planting times, succession planting, planting techniques, season extension & other tips for maximizing space & increasing productivity. .

Week 4: Where do We Grow From Here? March 30th 
If of interest, we can meet again to talk next steps & plan for seasonal workshops this year, and how we can grow together!

Ask a Grower!
After we have wrapped up this workshop series, we will offer bi-Weeky check-ins to support gardeners throughout the sesaon, and provide an on-going opportunity to connect with one another, share successes in our gardens & trouble shoot any challenges we might have in our gardens this season! We will discuss & plan throughout the duration of the workshops. 
Workshops will be offered on-line, with potential for some in-person workshops in community gardens where possilbe.
