Nourish, in partnership with Artspace, is bringing Hamilton-based photographer Jessie Golem to Peterborough for a talk and an exhibit of her photo series “Humans of Basic Income”.

After the cancellation of the Ontario Basic Income Pilot Project, Golem took it upon herself to create a portrait series of the program’s participants to showcase the tremendous difference it was making in people’s lives.

Jessie Golem has been involved in photography, from weddings, to portraits, to events, for almost ten years. Her passion for adventure has led her to a number of exciting and unique photography experiences. She currently works as the Operations Manager of Photographers Without Borders. Her “Humans of Basic Income” project can be viewed on her website.

The exhibit will open at noon on Tuesday December 18th at Artspace (3-378 Aylmer Street North), and the talk will start at 6 PM. No cover charge.
